A global telecommunications company Established in 1987, Auto Telecom Company (ATC) has gradually and successfully set up a worldwide business network. We now have more than 300 employees and five affiliated companies in the ATC group, namely Auto Telecom (Taiwan - headquarters), Auto Telecom (Australia - sales), Shenzhen Factory (mainland China - manufacturing), TransTel Communications Inc. (Taiwan - sales) and PT. Transindo Infotek (Indonesia - sales).
Company background
For the first 10 years, we have experienced and enjoyed the following achievements:
- 1987: We experienced soaring sales of our first product, the AX-8 Electronic Key Telephone System.
- 1988: Our annual sales amounted to US$2.4 million in the starting period.
- 1989: ATC introduced the first Taiwanese middle-sized telephone system, the AX-32.
- 1990: The Taiwanese version of the AX-16 was released to meet local market demands.
- 1991: We began mass production of the multifunctional AX-5 Key Service Unit.
- 1992: TransTel Communications Inc. (Taiwan area) was established.
- 1993: The fully hybrid BX-8 was available.
- 1994: ATC introduced the versatile BX-320. And we procured the ISO 9001 certification. ATC became a model company of SMEs in Taiwan.
- 1996: We announced ISDN, CT2 wireless, computer telephones, and the set up of our Shenzhen factory in mainland China.
A public listed company since 2000
ATC is now entering a new stage. We became a public company in the year 2000. Our two affiliates started operation in Australia and Indonesia in 1997, adding digital, ISDN systems and other ISDN peripherals in our product line.
